On Wednesday March 2nd 2022 at 1950 hrs Tanker 60 was dispatched to River Road and Oak Road on the first Alarm Building assignment to assist Blue Rock Fire on a Dwelling fire. The crew assisted with the fire operations.
On Thursday March 3rd 2022, Station 60 was dispatched to the area of Side Hill Terrace for a “Small Brush Fire” Units arrived to find 1/2 - 3/4 acre on fire. Captain 60 requested 2 additional tankers to the scene to give assistance. Once again we thank our mutual aid New Danville and Conestoga Fire Company for the help! As a side note we also appreciate the help of Pequea PD Chief Michener for lending us a helping hand on this fire. We Pride ourselves in “Team Work makes the Dream Work” and Chief Michener is a good Example of that!
Later on in The evening Station 60 was out again for a “Small Brush Fire” in the Area of Herrville Road. Assistant 60 (Reinhart) arrived on scene and found it to be a control burn. Units went available shortly after.
