On Saturday February 12th 2022 at 1256hrs West Willow Fire Company was getting ready to turn out for some training with Engine 60, when Chief 905 requested a tanker task force assignment for a dwelling fire on S.Duke Street in Millersville.
Tanker 60 under the command of Chief Topper responded with a crew of 6, once on scene the crew stood by in manpower staging until needed, while the Tanker stood by for extra water if needed. The incident was scaled back once the fire was under control and Tanker 60 was asked to standby at Station 905 till Blue Rocks apparatus were back available. While this incident was going on there was more members back at the station standing by protecting our first due for any other emergencies. Story by: L.Shoemaker
